Mascot Design Competition

The mascot must represent the core values of GAC 2026: “Culture, Community and Neurodiversity”

Purpose of the Mascot

The GAC 2026 mascot will visually embody the conference’s values, aspirations, and spirit.

More than a symbol, it represents a companion on the journey to an inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming world.

It will unite diverse stakeholders across age, language, and cultural boundaries.

Building on past editions’ symbols of hope, this mascot deeply reflects the conference theme of culture, community, and neurodiversity.

Core Elements to Represent
The mascot should be a character (animal, person, symbol, object, hybrid, etc.) that:
  • Celebrates Neurodiversity: Embraces individuals with autism and other developmental conditions with pride and positivity.
  • Represents LMIC Contexts: Culturally rooted and sensitive to the realities of Low and Middle-Income Countries, especially in South Asia.
  • Highlights Community Participation: Reflects inclusion, caregiving, collaboration across families, health workers, schools, and advocacy groups.
  • Visually Reproducible: Adaptable for a 3D model, usable in color and monochrome versions, and printable on various formats (badges, banners, certificates).
